Accessories: Purses, caps, headphones, etc.Students will not be allowed to participate in PE if they are not wearing appropriate shoes and their grade may be negatively impacted by failure to participate. PE: Athletic style shoes are required for PE.Small colored accents are acceptable but should not be the primary color of the shoe. Shoes should be in neutral colors, such as black, brown, or white. Shoes & Socks: Closed-toed athletic (sneakers) with red, white, or navy socks will ensure that students are properly dressed for P.E.During colder months, tights of uniform color (red, white, or navy blue) may be worn underneath skirts. Girls may also wear navy or khaki skirts, skorts, or jumpers, provided they are mid-thigh to knee length. ![]() Jeans, sweatpants, or tight leggings are not acceptable. Pleated or elastic waist pants are acceptable. Shorts should be mid-thigh to knee length. Shirts: Collared shirt, long-sleeved or short, with or without the Woodland logo.All students wear the Woodland uniform.Please refrain from dressing your child in tank tops or spaghetti strap tops, short short-pants, croc shoes, open-toe slides, distressed/ripped jeans, and other non-uniform items. Please see the details below about the uniform expectations: We are a uniform school and consistency in our uniform is expected. With our warmer temperatures and transition to spring weather, please be mindful of appropriate dress code attire. The schedule for testing for students in Grades 3-5 is below: We would love to have 95% or higher attendance for all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. We will not allow students to bring home devices beginning May 1st. All devices will remain at school during the testing window to ensure they are charged and ready for testing each day.Encourage your child to do their best, but not stress!.Our building will operate in a complete quiet mode during the testing time between 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.It is imperative your child is seated in his/her classroom at the start of the instructional day, by 7:40 am.Please ensure your child receives a good night’s rest, a healthy breakfast, and arrives on time for school.Thank you in advance for ensuring your child is present and on time for each day of testing.Next week, our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will participate in the Georgia Milestones Assessment System (GMAS). It is state assessment season for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students! Our teachers and students have prepared for this time in our calendar all year-long by engaging in high level teaching and learning of grade level standards.
